I am a senior citzen on a  fixed income and needed money for unexpected expenses.  My credit isn't that good, so

I got a loan from Title Bucks in  Phoenix, Az.  The loan was for 700.00 and I was to pay $108.23 a month.  I got the loan on 1/10/14.  They told me that any extra money IPaid would go directly to the principle of the loan.   Every month I paid a little over to go toward principle.  The interest was 179.88.  In September they said I could borrow anoter $200.00 so the balance went back to $657.96.   In October I paid 140.00 and out of that 99.70 went to finance charges, but the rest of the money wasn't deducted from the principle.  The beginning princple balance and total balance today were both 657.27.

On 2/18/15 I went in to pay a payment, and a person named Sonia Cato was working and I told her I wanted to pay 110.00.  The beginning balance on principle was 568.32.  She told me I had a  credit on my account and I only had to pay 40.00.   I asked her how I could have a credit when I paid extra it should be going to the principle.   She said it doesn't apply to the principle it just stays out there as a credit.   She told me I should just pay 40.00 and get the credit off the books.  I was upset and told her okay but I was told it would go to principle, and she said it doesn't.   She had me pay the 40.00.  My ending principle principle was 617.95.  I asked the manager about it the next month, and he said she must have made a mistake but never offered to fix it.  The manager's name was charles Turnbull.  (They have had 3 different managers during this time. )

The next month my whole 110.00 went to interest.  It is now the end of August, and I still owe 468.74.  I have never been late on payments.  I think I was taken advantage of when she had me just pay 40.00.  She t8ld  me that nothing would change, everything would be the same because I had an eighty dollar credit that was just setting out there.   She didn't tell me that interest would start all over again as a new loan.
