Complaint Review: TIVO

TIVO Rebate Ripoff! can not get my rebate check Check has been in mail for mails. After multiple emails and telephone calls, still have not received checks - two @ $150.00 each.. Have been waiting since Christmas 2005. Alviso, California

PURCHASED TWO TIVOS ON DECEMBER 19, 2006 FOR MY SONS FOR CHRISTMAS. I MAILED IN THE REBATES AFTER CHRISTMAS. I WAS ADVISED THAT THIS WOULD TAKE APPROXIMATELY SIX WEEKS TO RECEIVE THE REBATES OF $150 EACH. TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED EITHER CHECK. PER tivorebates BOTH CHECKS HAVE BEEN MAILED.

I ADVISED TIVO THAT I WAS MOVING ON 04/10/06 AND I DID NOT WANT THE CHECKS TO BE FORWARDED AND REQUEST THEY CHANGE THE ADDRESS IMMEDIATELY WHICH THEY DID NOT DO.

AT THIS TIME, I AM REQUESTING YOU STOP PAYMENT ON THE TWO LOST CHECKS AND RE-ISSUE TWO NEW ONES WHICH WILL BE SEND OVER NIGHT FEDERAL EXPRESS, UNITED PARCEL OR SIMILAR SERVICE ASAP. IT HAS BEEN EIGHTEEN WEEKS WHICH IS A FAR CRY FROM SIX (6)
