Tivo ripoff will not honor $100 rebate terms Alviso California
I followed all written instructions regarding my rebate from Tivo, Inc. which I purchased at Costco Wholesale. I did online preregistration, installed my system, bought my membership, and then mailed my rebate form, UPC, and receipt. I have copies of this material. I called Tivo Rebate Office to find out why rebate was not received and they said I did not follow the terms. They also told me there was nothing they could do. I feel ripped off.

Elizabeth-thousands of subcribers to Tivo products through Directv are having simular experiences...it took me 4 mos to finally recieve a "credit" on my account,which is different from a rebate, for sure, but I guess better than nothing.
You will have to continue to badger and cajole-eventually they give in.
Its a numbers game,many,many people give up and let them have their way...I hope you dont.

Elizabeth-thousands of subcribers to Tivo products through Directv are having simular experiences...it took me 4 mos to finally recieve a "credit" on my account,which is different from a rebate, for sure, but I guess better than nothing.
You will have to continue to badger and cajole-eventually they give in.
