I saw an ad for two AKC Yorkies online, I was told that the delivery would be set up with TLC Pet transport, The lady would never answer phone , just text. On day of flight, they said the dogs were in quarantine had to be seen by their vet, cost $55.00. Then they said before flight which was 4 hours later needed temperature controlled crate for $250. Then 3 hours later they said they needed insurance refundable $800.00. A delivery fee to my home was $600.00 non-refundable, then they sent me a statement saying dogs were in flight would arrive next day at 8:30 am,. At 3 am I get a text saying , dogs too small in quarantine, have to pay $1500, or they stay at airport for 4 months and will cost me $10,000.00 to get them back. Still have not received puppies or any money back! I am a disabled veteran, with 3 kids, looking for the puppies.... They made me use money grams for everything.

I'm sorry for everything you are going through but this is a typical scam.  There are several other rip-off reports about fake breeders claiming the puppies "need insurance" or "are in quarantine" and need more funds.  A real breeder will have all the fees up front for you, will take responsiblity if they are arranging the shipping and, quite frankly, a real breeder would NEVER just put a puppy on a plane and ship it to you.  The fact that they want everything in money grams (or cashier checks, money orders or wire transfers) without physically talking to you (either in person or over the phone) is an even bigger tip off that they are trying to scam you.  Please do not think there are puppies sitting in some airport storage area somewhere, they most likely never existed in the first place and you were sent pictures of someone elses puppies, pictures probably stolen off the internet.  Cut your losses, report them to the Attorny General for your state and the state these people are from but my personal feeling is they are ghosts and won't be found.
