I have had nothing but problems with tmobile phones since i signed to the them. They phone i got for free just 3 months ago locked as in the keypad locked for no reason. Tech support had no answer and told me since its still under warrantee to send the phone in and they will send me a new phone as long as there is no other damage. Which there was NOT! About a month later i had a 100 dollar charge for water damage, based on circles or black dots on the back of the phone. Which there actually was no sticker on the phone, Either waythere was ABSOLUTELY NO LIQUID DAMAGE to the phone, none

Cmon, this is southern california i cant remember the last time it even rained.Of course there is no one who can help me and I have to just pay it. I have lost all faith in Tmobile because this is a greedy excuse of a scam. And after seeing the scores of other victims ripped off in the SAME EXACT WAY! I have no doubt that this is a scam. So far it does not look like im going to get whats fair (my $$$ back) so hopefully theyre will be a lawsuit against them and they will get what they deserve like the rest of the greedy corperations got. I cant even get to customer service because theyre lines are crossed with theyre pay as you go plan. This is a joke, I hope tmobile gets what they deserve. All there phones are sub par and have problems. I personally know this becasue i have 4 or 5 of theyre phones. All of them have been defective in one way or another. I hope there is a lawsuit against them because this is NO way to treat your customers.I cant even get service on the westside of LA. Please please DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TMOBILE. Theyre warrantee is like a crap shoot. Buyer beware!

No liquid indicator sticker...warranty negated. Sticker doesn't come off by itself. Only time I ever see stickers removed is when phones are water damaged and the customer always admits to it after the fact, than we go about replacing it. The best thing to do if your phone comes in contact with water is NOT remove the sticker, take the battery out...leave it out for 2 days, missed calls will go to voicemail, put it by a fan and let it dry out. DO NOT turn a phone that has been in contact with liquid on until you let it dry out for 2 days by a fan, it will most likely fry the circuits in the phone. After 2 days turn it on and you have a 50 50 shot of it working fine. If it's not working check your upgrade eligibility, use your insurance or buy a new phone. T-Mobile has the cheapest full price phones of all the major carriers. It might seem like a high price, but remember how useful a cell phone is. I have 4 things on me every single day...my wallet, my watch, my shoes and my cell phone. My cell phone is the most useful to me so I would definitely be willing to spend 60 to a couple hundred dollars to replace it.

Has it ever occured to you that the warranty on your phone is with the Manufacturers??? Did you ever take the time to read the owners manuel or the actual warr. that is more than a few pages long. Yes it is boring to read but maybe if you did you would come to the conclusion that T-Mobile is providing you with a service to use with phone that is under warr. with the manufacture. Its pretty simple. So if you have a problem with what is covered maybe a call to the company that us actually providing the warr. would be a good start!!! Think of it this way... you buy a 42 inch flat screen tv... you can not see the picture... the cable company is still sending you signal...do you blame the cable company? Or do you read your warr.?

DEMAND a supervisor

#6Consumer Suggestion

Tue, November 25, 2008

I had this same problem with a Sidekick LX i returned for not working. It was clear that the phone had problems stemming direclty from the TMobile server. I was told after they exchanged the phone, sent me a new one and I called to followup that i was assessed a $105 out of warranty fee. I called and DEMANDED a supervisor, then I DEMANDED the supervisor explain what tyep of water damage took place on this phone.

I questioned the fact that it could have either been damaged by UPS or it could have been sitting in the UPS processing plant where it was either too hot or too cold. There was not a valid response to those questions which resulted in the charge being removed. I would also advise TMobile that you have contacted the FCC regarding this complaint, same as I did. Hope that would help!
