I have been a T mobile customer since Omnipoint communications, then Voicestream purchased them, then Tmobile purchased Voicestream. Same lines. same numbers. Also I have a company with 125 phone lines with them as well. We have never been rewarded anything with my personal plan of 10 lines or my business which I am fine with because I am not of the mindset of free anything and have never missed a payment, been late or anything.

While looking for a phone for my grandson today I chose one that was on their website in my account as it showed 198 total 9.98 per month and 0 total today. I clicked on it and all of a sudden it was $50 dollars due today. I called in and asked why the $35. activation charge when a phone GSM dies nit need ti be activated. The tax I was fine with. The nice customer service rep said that was their policy even as she looked at the phone as advertised on their site and agreed that it said $0. today

I asked her to go through my account and see my history and also advised her about my companys 125 lines and its history as mentioned previously. She said it was their policy and she could not do anything. She put me on hold and spoke with her supervisor and when she came back said her supervisor refused. I explained to her how Walmart has the same phone at 99.00 compared to 9.98 for 24 months and the additional 50. that they were requesting.

At the end her supervisor refused to budge. I explained to her how several companies have been visiting my business for years attempting to take their business away with excellent deals and I had always been firm and stayed loyal to Tmobile. She acknowledged however said that her supervisor refused. As the owner of a business I cant imagine a company willing to lose this much business for 35.00. So I explained to her that I would be making the decision to take my 10 personal lines and the 125 to one of two either AT&T or Verizon in January. Probably Verizon.

So moral of the story is if Tmobile is not loyal to customers as my self which have paid them without hiccup for multiple decades how loyal will they be to anyone else. Don’t waste your time with Tmobile if you are a customer as I. Chose companys that will honor your loyalhood and will not chose teenagers that will switch from them when a new phone offer is given by any other company. If that is the customer they hold best fir them, this is not the company to do business with. Good riddance.
