TMX MAGAZINE UNAUTHORIZED USE OF DEBIT CARD SALT LAKE CITY Utah
In February of 2007, I made a purchase at Fye's Electronics in Austin,TX, and I was offered free magazine subscriptions...In October of 2007, I noticed 3 unauthorized debit transactions from TMX magazine and tried to call the phone number of the company (1-888-321-6247 or 1-800-927-9578). There was an automated voice, and it would not let me speak to a live person. Also, it seemingly would not allow me to get a refund.
Finally, I called Fye's electronics and they gave me an entirely different number (1-877-813-4977). I was able to speak with someone in customer service who then cancelled my subscriptions, and supposedly refunded my money (we will see!!). I then asked the customer service representative where this company was based out of, and she said Salt Lake City, UT.
Hopefully this information will be useful for everyone else who has been ripped-off by this company
