Long report kept short. was sent a package from the pacific rim in a single TNT envelope. Company made mistake in Bill of Lading and added ALOT more. TNT's legal department contacted me three months after delivery looking for payment of $300.00 + dollars for an item that was a commercial sample. I produced the envelope it came in, a letter from the company i was doing business with, witnesses, more, and it still wasn't enough for them. Guess they thought I would pay just to settle...NOPE!

Last I head they had sold the debt to another law fiem I guess...Have all their letters sealed in the file with all other evidence. More than enough to prove their case wrong. They will never get the money for that debt and our company does not accept shipping from TNT anymore.

the trick is to outlast them

Got some advice from my very high priced attorney friend:
In situations as this, the trick is to outlast them, and keep copious documentation.
Hope this helps someone else. I'll keep updating as things unfold or if I move into the court realm. These guys will never see a penny.

called their lawyers, Weinstock and O'Malley

After making the last phone call telling their lawyers, Weinstock and O'Malley, PO 311, Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857 all of the evidence I had, and, that I was going to file harassment proceedings plus anything else I could think of.

Also, filing a fraud report # Ref. No. 4528291, with the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov if it will help anyone else), I am still receiving bills. The Bills are not what the lawyers stated they would be though, they said they were going to tack on attorney fees, but they did not...Looks like it's time to go to court.

I'll update again and let all know how it goes.
