Complaint Review: Todays Escapes

While checking my credit card activity, I noticed a charge for $169.95. The description was listed as follows:
TODAYS ESCAPES 877-820-6329 CT

I reviewed all of my records, and I am confident that I never purchased goods or services from this company. I called the number to find out what they even sell and why I had been charged. After going through their worthless voicemail system, I realized that I wasn't going to get an answer.

I called my credit card company to dispute the charges. Fortunately, my credit company had already flagged this charge as suspicious, and had already started the process to credit it back to my account. Nonetheless, my card company indicated they would investigate it for me.

I thought to peform a Google search and I found this website, where there are many complaints against TODAYS ESCAPES. Evidently, they are just one front company of a larger group of shell companies designed to defraud, based on the results of my google search. I'm also going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. These people need to be fined severely for deceptive and fraudlent practices.
