Complaint Review: todd jean lumber

hello i recently lost my job due to economy,was working for a corrupt company with 2 trucks,i finished working on a friday sat all week till next thursday then was told that my truck was being sold and i would be out of a job!which happend the next day after the owner gave me no notice he decided he was keeping my log book,which he took out of my truck and i went to file unemployment and he said he would deny me because it made him look bad or he had to pay something to unemployment,so i get a notice from unemployment saying i was discharged for willfullmisconduct what ever that means.is there any way i can sue this jerk for lying to save money and keeping my log book since it had my name and date on it,i always thought that it was a legal document?thanks
