Complaint Review: Todd's Auction House

We had a household sale in the Memphis area and gave Todd Auction House a contract to sell items out of our storage facility. We had no opportunity to be there locally, so we could not control what really got sold and what not. Months later we heard, that somebody was break in one or more of our storage bins and items got stolen.

Our first impression was: Why was the Todd Auction House not giving us any notice that stored items disappeared? This is a very important cause, but we never got any answer, what we demanded. We wrote e-mails and made phone calls, but seldom we received any reaction back. 

After several month most of our items got sold, we cancelled our contract with the storage facility and with Todd Auction House. They were holding the keys to the storage facility and never gave us the keys to our storage bins back. So we had to hire a locksmith to cut the locks.
