BEWARE of ALL Dating Services!!! I am a former employee that knows how ALL of these services are connected to each other in some way, shape or form. So, HEED MY WARNING: TOGETHER DATING, THE RIGHT ONE, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, NEW BEGINNINGS, etc. in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arizona!!!!!

The service itself is a fraud. A group of low-class citizens tired of pick-pocketing on street corners got together one day and decided to emotionally manipulate people into opening their own wallets while sitting in an air-conditioned office instead.

The money you put down does not go for anything except each employee and owner's bank account!! There is NO reason anyone should be expected to pay any money for anything that is NOT TANGIBLE!!! Even services such as therapy, fitness centers, etc., you are paying for the person's expertise, or equipment use, etc. Dating Services simply make every "member" pay, and then give each member another member's phone number, under the illusion that each person is a happy, date-able human being. The needs and demands of each member are rarely, if ever, met (Reminder** pretending to care about what you want and are looking for in a person is part of the scam), and the same effect could be accomplished be randomly picking out names in the white pages!!!

CHECK THE FINE PRINT ON THE CONTRACT!!! They make it so that once you walk out of the office, if you decide sitting in your car that you made a mistake, TOO BAD! You can't get a refund. They don't want to see you married, or dating, or in love, they only want your MONEY!!!! Under NO circumstances will they give it back! It's already spent on someone's golf-game, or big screen TV.

They do not screen their members. Not a single formentioned company has any legal standing to check anyone's personal, criminal, or financial backgrounds. THINK!!! First, they'd need a license to do such a thing, and since dating services are usually run by shady people who don't want anything "officiated", they don't do anything that needs a permit or license. Second, using a government or private investigator's services to conduct background checks WOULD COST THEM MONEY!!! That's defeating their purpose of GETTING MONEY! Thirdly, pay attention to how many times they ask you to reference how much you make, how many bills you have, or how much available credit you have on cards. By the time they are prepared to reval their "price list" to you for memberships, they've already determined how much they are going to charge you (NO ONE MEMBER HAS PAID THE SAME PRICE AS ANOTHER!! EVERYONE GETS "SPECIAL DEALS" CUT FOR THEM!!). Since you've already revealed how much debt you have versus how much you make, they can argue you out of any reason you can give for NOT joining right then and their--a sales manipulation tactic to make you feel stupid, trapped, and embarrassed so you will give in. And don't be fooled with their "psychological exam". They charge YOU the full cost of the test, send it off to the company that wrote it, and then shuffle the results away when they receive them. I witnessed COUNTLESS people get a "psychologically disturbed" rating on their tests. Were they denied membership? NO WAY! AND...they were set up with members who had no idea their dates' were mentally unstable!!

They also don't screen their employees. It's like a car lot, but without boundaries. These people are qualified to do NOTHING but make a sales pitch unrefusable. I personally witnessed SSN#'s being stolen from member's files, drugs/alcohol being consummed before an "interview" with prospective members, and improper use of cash and credit card info. And all the employees at one company have worked for another company...they all shift around periodically to keep their trail of fraud from being exposed.

The telemarketers sound incredible and excited, the "counselors" are well-dressed and even more enthusiastic to see you walk through their office doors, and the member relations people are sweet and act overly interested in you for the first two days you are a member. And then what happens? The cash they made off of you has been spent, and they're off to make more money, tempting other people to come in and join, while filing your info and requests for dates in the bottom of a filing cabinet. Your calls? ALWAYS ignored!! You'll NEVER get through to speak to who you want to, nor will you be matched with anyone...let alone anyone you'd actually be interested in!!!

Once you realize you're nothing more than a fancy dinner, cocaine binge, summer vacation, designer suit, or a rent payment to Dating Service employees who will refuse to hear the word "no" from you after their two-hour presentation on the wonders of using a dating service, you'll realize that what they CLAIM to do, versus how much they ask from you to do it, is ASSININE!!!

The Right One is better

I would like to know which company you worked for, because frankly, you are not totally correct.

I know that these companies are NOT all connected. I know that Great Expectations has nothing to do with the Right One. It's true that Together and The Right One joined forces, but it's similar to how banks join up to become larger organizations.

Great Expectations is francised, whereas, the Right One is corporate owned.

We do not have access to SS#'s. We don't do drugs on the job. We drink coffee like the rest of the world.

The Right One developed it's own personality and compatibility testing. We don't send anything away to a random company to tell us if someone is unstable.

We do conduct criminal background checks, and we pay for it. We don't do financial background checks, but we have criteria that each member must meet, such as having a checking account.

The reason we need to ask about their finances, is simply, that someone who has a lot of debt., or is financially irresponsible, may not be ready to date....with the intention of being in a serious relationship where they may get married and have kids. If you can't take care of yourself, what can you do for others?

So Please, next time, get your facts straight and don't make broad remarks about a bunch of businesses that don't work together at all.
