My husband is in the military and while he was away last summer, I decided to have the landscaping done as a surprise for his return. Tom Abrams w/ Abrams Landscaping did the job and as of today, January 4th, the job is still not complete.

His landscaping took place April 23rd and 24th, 2008. He planted 4 bushes along the front of the house. Three of them died within a month. Since October I have also noticed dead hosta plants and another dead bush in front of the garage (which he also planted.) I have called him over 22 times, scheduled 7 appointments with him (none of which he attended), and wrote him a letter explaining my disappointment in his services. Our house went on the market December 17th, 2008 and I still have 3 dead bushes which won't help trying to sell it.

I don't know what other information would be pertinent to you. Please let me know if you need specific dates, pictures etc. because I have it ALL documented and I don't ever want him to work in this city again.

I contacted the painter to replace the ONE bush that he killed by placing his ladder between the leaves of the bush. The painter did not have any problem paying for the replacement bush which I told Mr. Abrams. The problem is that Mr. Abrams cancelled or didn't show up for any appointments made to plant the new bushes.

If Mr. Abrams is truly concerned with customer satisfaction, he should've kept his appointments to take care of this situation in a timely manner.

The plants were killed by the house painters stepping on them. We made arrangements to replace the dead bushes, and later found out that they were killed by the painters. We are not responsible for their negligence!! We had no contract with this person and did extra unpaid for work while we were on the job site. As for Hastas they wilt during the winter and come back in the spring, these were also transplants, again not part of the original job description. Anytime you move plants from one section of your yard to another there is no guarantee they will survive. We have tried multiple times to explain to this person that they need to contact the house painters to have this matter taken care of. All of my employees and myself take pride in a job well done and are happy to go the extra mile to make our customers happy. When we left the job the customer was happy.
