My wife (I am Hampton Scott Tonk, her husband) Sandi Reichling Tonk, purchased a 2013 Toyota Prius (VIN JTDKN3DU9D1678352) for $16,000.00 from Auto Wizard of Punta Gorda managed by Mr. Thomas Bankston.  She funded the entire enterprise, including all its equipment, registrations and certifications and computers.  Bankston then failed to re-title the car in her name and then sold it at auction (Manheim Auto Auctions at 2100 Rockfill Road, Fort Myers, FL 33916, phone [239] 337-5141) for $13,500.00 on 3-4-2015, for which we have the original bill of sale (entry no. 01-0054, key no. 2015-010-010054), and it was purchased by GB Cars, Inc., 6640 Taylor Road, Suite B-1, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, ([928] 533-3278) through Manheim Auto Auctions noted above.  Bankston then took off for parts unknown, and my wife Sandi then seized Auito Wizard's PC computer, laptop, relevant hard copy documentation and all FL registration and regulatory certificates hanging on the walls of Auto Wizard's office, as she is the owner of all of the above items (and the Sheriff knows this, because she told him), effectively shutting down Auto Wizard.

Both Manheim of Fort Myers FL and GB Auto Sales of Punta Gorda Are Innocent in the Bankston Affair

I am the original writer of the report concerning a possible fraud involving a man maned Tom Bankston and the re-sale of a Toyota Prius reported elsewhere on this site.  To clarify that report, I wish to state that both Manheim of Fort Myers and GB Auto Sales of Punta Gorda are completely innocent in the referenced transaction, as neither organization knew either the origins of the Prius or the circumstances surrounding the re-sale of that car.
