This is to clarify the ABC Construction associated with Tom Bergeron stands for "All About Construction" ( don't ask me how they got that acronym for All About Construction ) but there is another ABC Construction in Everett, so I wanted to clarify to avoid the confusion. Tom Bergeron has also been known to operate under the name Home Fix It Solutions.  A new ripoff report filed in July from "Jen" in Redmond shows that Tom and his wife are still at it under the "ABC" name. The aforementioned welfare fraud was for Mr. Bergeron using EBT food stamps while collecting his "under the table" payments that also had him owing the I.R.S. so that Mr. Bergeron could not have a bank account because any deposits were immediately seized by the I.R.S. as taxable income was not reported, and may still not be ( judging by "Jens" report that she signed no contract. Contracts can be traced, that's why Tom Bergeron does not use them. Banking is done by his wife, Carmen, in the form of Canadian bank accounts, as she has dual citizenship. They hid all income from the I.R.S. and may still be doing so. they also did not pay their employees, owing thousands. They have had more than one instance of not returning people's deposits and not honoring agreed upon prices ( again, conveniently, no contracts having been signed. )

Washington state L&I website has a tool that you can check up on any contractor, to see of they are in violation, or if they are current and have the proper insurance and bonding. A search of Mr. Bergerons name will show a contractors license issued on September 15th of 2008 and being suspended on November 13th of 2008 for failure to maintain proper insurance. Mr. Bergeron was also not licensed to do electrical work or plumbing work and has been fined by the L&I board for performing unlicensed work. A check with the L$I board should show if Mr. Bergeron has obtained the proper licenses - I suggest any potential customers do a dilligent check of Mr. Bergeron's credentials and licensing situation before proceeding with any home improvement and a signed contract is always a good idea.
