Complaint Review: Tom Hrynkiw Customs Decks and Docks

I, like the unfortunte others who have reported, have been scammed by this man. I referenced this unethical man but I now think his references were fake.  And like others, he wants the money up front because he can get the wood cheaper and so you pay for the wood upfront.  Then he comes back looking for more money because of the wood you have chosen costs more.  He starts the deck but never completed.  And he gives numerous reasons why he cannot come back to complete the deck - even saying that his mother had died and he was handling her estate. But she didn't die as I have a picture of her at the Mary Street address.  I have now used another contractor who has had to rip out all of his substandard work.  Never deal with this man - unless you want to lose money.  He is operating out of the Toronto, Oshawa, Markham and Kawartha Lakes areas on Kijijji.  He is a big time scam artist.  If you Google his name, you will see that he used to live in Vancouver but left.  I wonder why?  Maybe it got too hot for him there.
