Thomas Steed and Donna Zwilling are people that use intimidation and threats to pursuade people into doing what is good for THEM. Mr. steed has used his debt collection software to obtain information to extort people into getting what he wants out of life. One case that has happened as recently as January of 09 involved Mr. Steed hiring two young individuals to restore a vechicle that has been in his family for a number of years.
Once the said job was completed he tried to pursuade the two individuals to give him the vehicle back without payment being rendered for their services. When Mr. Steed showed up on a preiviosly agreed day to pick up the veichle and pay his bill he instead showed up with a deputy sheriff and tried to leave without paying. Once the deputy informed him that there was an active lien on the vehicle and advised him to vacate the premises he stated that he would make their life "a living hell".
In the following days he procured the individuals family members names, job locations, personal information (including social security numbers) he then continuosly harrassed them at home and on the job. At one point Mr Steed even had his wife call both individuals bosses during normal buisness hours to try to make the individuals out as bad people.
Once this failed Mr steed offered to pay one individual to go to court on his behalf against the other when this failed he took out a false charge agains the other individual. Mr Steed has been convicted in Durham,NC county court on many ocassions for practicing law without a license and practice of law by collection agency. Mr Steed has also been charged as recently as Mar of 09 with cyberstalking and making harrassing phone calls

We originally ignored responding to this utter nonsense from an illiterate individual with a criminal record, but have decided to set the record straight.
Mr. Connelly who partially restored the vehicle put a $6,000.00 lien on the car when we stated it was still (after a year) not safe to drive, and that we would be back in 2 weeks. That obviously did not make him happy so he placed a fraudelent lien on a vehicle that has been in the family for over 40 years.
He then threatened to burn down our North Carolina home and sell the car on ebay. We gave him certified funds for $6,000.00 so we could get the car back.
The rest of these accusations are just Jibberish, and we will not lower ourselves to defend them.
