Tommy's Mobile Auto Body Incompetent, untrustworthy, unprofessional, crooks & liars!! Should not be allowed to do business in Texas!!! Hurst, Texas
Someone from this shop approached my son promising to do body work and waive the deductible. Appears they approach younger people with the lack of business experience. After the truck was in the shop and they realized insurance was in my name I received numerous phone calls on my business number asking for payment upfront on insurance claim to do the work. After refusal of payment upfront they became rude and uncooperative. Promising to have work done on a timely basis, after 2 1/2 weeks they haven't completed work because they do not have money to order parts. Instead keep calling asking for payment upfront and agruing over the phone.
On day they have truck ready they decide they had authority for additional work and request more money outside of insurance claim. Another argument with employees and owner on phone. At this point I realize I have to take possession of vehicle and possibly cut my losses rather than continue dealing with these crooks and keep accruing or owing even more money. At time of pick up they want to meet at a check cashing place no later than 6PM so they can cash the insurance check immediately and when we arrive at the business is closed at 5PM and they had me rush all the way there to be there before 6PM. Paint job is completely unprofessional as are their attitudes toward customers.Paint was not baked on and smelled strong at pick up. They did not primer before repainting over the entire truck which looks dull and blemished. Business transaction took place in Ace Check Cashing Parking lot in 107 degree weather.
Truck was returned with an empty gas tank had to drive immediately to get gas. Bolts connecting the fuel intake at gas tank were missing this is a hazard and made it difficult to gas up. All parts included in insurance claim were not repaired or replaced including side mirror. They call continuously from cell phones listed to different women and not a business number. They continue to pat themselves on their back for the good work they did and I told them they paint job is terrible. I realize it would do no good to ask they complete or repair their sloppy work they would keep the truck for weeks and continue to harrass me for payment.
This company needs to be out of business!!

Can you believe that Vinnie from the shop was still calling me on Monday asking if I would meet them at Ace to help him cash the 2nd insurance check? We had a long discussion after that. I doubt they will be at this location long they may already be in the process of moving since they didn't want me to come to the shop to pick up the truck. I was able to recover the truck lost some money in the process, but my insurance company is stopping payment on the 2nd check handed to them. I believe what goes around comes around, just hope I'm around to see it.

These guys are still at it huh?
They ripped a few people off in Arlington, and after the Heat was on, they took off.
They approched me wanting to fix my truck and waive my deductible as well.
I should have known better and gone with my gut feeling.
Process started off Ok. They talked to the adjuster and got all the numbers right.
The Owner Tommy told me it should take 3-4 Days tops!!!
After the 4th Day, my truck was still sitting there. No work had been done and no one was
at the shop. I called the only number I had, and Tommy said he couldnt start working on it
because he had to order the paint from Nissan. At this point, I smelled BS>
I told him I wanted my truck back and didnt want him to fix it. He offered to let me borrow his truck while mine was fixed and I refused. He used profanity towards my wife and then apoligized crying.
He said that they had already started the work on the truck and I could take it like that.
He said to give him 2 more days and it should be ready. I decided to go up to the shop and take a look and come to find out that the shop two bays down was painting my truck because Tommy couldnt figure out how to do it and was using another car to pull the dent out.
These other guys told me that Tommy is always in some problems and people are always going up there threating him. I told these guys to hold my truck, and call me once the job is done. They did a good job and called me so I could go pick it up. I went and walked into Tommys shop and everything was gone.
He picked up and left as well as with my bumper. I called a couple more times and his wife said he was sick and couldnt come to the phone.
I cant seem to begin to understand how this guy can continue to rip off people. But then again, I blame no one else but myself for not going with my gut feeling.
Im hoping to bump into him soon.....
