Complaint Review: Tony Faver

Tony Faver hired me on Odesk to do some SEO jobs on his new website: corporatefundingdirect.com. Few weeks later, Odesk has banned his account since he had too much balance due.

He asked me if I can work for him outside of the platform and he would pay me by Paypal. Even though he owed me 200$ on Odesk, which he was never able to pay, I had still agreed to work with him as he said that he is in some financial problems and etc.

I would actually spend about 6-7 hours working for him ever day after coming from school. A month later, I asked him for my payment, he said he can't make it now since he still has some financial problems.

He asked me for another month, which I happily agreed. That month left, he still did not pay me. Then he got mad at me when I told him that I will hold the work until he pays me some of the past due payments.

He then comes up with emotional blackmails that ohh if we care about the relation that we have built, you will work until I am able to pay you. But the man does not understands that when the amount gets to 1500$, it is actually hard for someone to keep working without getting paid.

He then blamed me for being heartless and told me that he did not want me to work for him anymore and also asked me 2 months time to pay back all the amount. It's actually the 6th month now and he has not paid me anything.

He has blocked me on Skype and does not reply to my e-mails anymore. I simply do not understand that a credit consultant who claims that he can get a loan of 300,000$ for people with bad credits, can't pay 1500$ himself.

i did some researches on him afterwards and found out that I am not the only one he has scammed but a lot of other people. There is already another complaint about him in this site by someone else.

As well as when I did a Google search on him, there were a lot of negative things that came up about him. He claims to be operated from Beverly Hills but it's actually a virtual office.

To conclude, I just have to tell you to be careful with this guy. I hope that you do not get ripped off like that.
