I became acquainted with the business building and mentorship program offered by Tony Seruga through Digital Mavericks through a prior business associate who vouched for him as a straight up guy and successful businessman who knew what he was doing.

Plus there was a guarantee - Tony would teach us how to build a million dollar business, that is GENERATE a million dollars within 6-12 months, or I'd get my money back (no caveats) AND he would build a million dollar business for me. That essentially meant I could not lose.

So with the endorsement from a well known internet marketer AND this guarantee, I got involved in this training called Build A Better Business (BABB).

BABB was supposed to be a set of modules that would detail a proprietary system to building a business, a million dollar business, GUARANTEED, in 6-12 months. It was supposed to include modules/business systems and software as part of this training.

The initial part of the training diverted drastically from what I had anticipated. There was a bunch of fluff and wasted fillers, with him delivering materials that were not proprietary at all. It was copied and resold material by other marketers. When this INTRO type material lasted for months, I commented on it and Tony admitted that we would not have the systems taught and able to be implemented to take advantage of the fall 2006 sales cycle. This meant that I would NOT have a working businesses at all in 2006.

This alarmed me.

However we were told the system modules would come and that this other stuff was needed for a basis. Nothing proprietary ever did materialize.

He actually HIRED one of the students to produce screencams, which was a really big waste of time, as well as having his young daughter read stuff to us on webinars. Nothing new. Nothing proprietary. Boring and an absolute waste of time.

All of this with a $10,799 price tag. I got nothing but wasted time for it. At the end of the year, I was no better off than when this course began. And I knew that I had been taken big time. My concerns were validated.

If Mr. Seruga would have been HONEST and forthcoming about his real plans and modules for this training, that no one would have a viable business built or anywhere near ready 6 months into this deal, no one would have signed up for the training.

But based on what I've seen inside BABB, the intent was never to actually deliver. Over 1 year since payment one went in, no business exists from this mentorship. All I have is a tax deduction and wasted time.
