Complaint Review: Top Preforming Properties - Athens GA

Apparently this is their MO.  My son and 3 other students in Athens, GA  rented from Top Performing Properties.  The lease was very one-sided and we were concerned.  On the day of move-in, the house was totally trashed.  There was also a p***s spray painted on the side of the house and a broken window.  Took them weeks to clean it up and replace the window (which they did with a piece of plexiglass just set in unsecured). Thank goodness one of the moms was there and took move in pictures.  Shortly after they moved in, the former tenent came to the house to show them a bill for $6000 that they were charged.  We knew we were going to have issues at the end of the lease. When the time came, the boys cleaned and repaired paint scuffs, etc.. Even had Jack Tucker, the owner of the company come inspect. He told them it "looked better than it did whe you guys moved in".  And the promptly stole $1200 of a security deposit showing $840 dollars in repainting (among other bogus repairs). There have been numberous complaints on the BBB, but still they continue to rip people off.  These are students!
