Complaint Review: TOPHER JONES DP/CAMERA NOT EXPERIENCE

Productions beware of this guy. He is nothing more than a deep water diver with a camera NOT A DP, who was lucky to secure the productions he worked on and use those credits to seem more experienced than he actually was. I am sure real exeperienced Director's Of photography hire him,and give him the credit as 2nd Unit DP..... because experienced DP's won't do that! so you give a credit to a wanna be like TOPHER  at a low rate for the credit. I have worked with this guy and he has financial problems and want advances all the time from production. He is a jack of all trades and master of none. He claims he is always in a business venture that fails. He is a lifelong career college student who stays in school to avoid paying student loans bills right away. He comes off nice, educated and professional. However, He will ruin your production and posts vicious lies on the Director, Producers, writers and crew. If you make the mistake of hiring him and then decide he was not really an experienced 1st rate Director Of Photography, he will take to the internet and write horrible things to sabotage your film production and your staff. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! ANYONE BUT TOPHER JONES - AFI HOPEFUL. (HOPE NOT!)  I normally would never post anything on individuals in film. However, Topher Jones crossed the line with lies and mistruths about our production heads and staff. We know its him because he was the only person FIRED the production and he posted things we only discussed with him personally and in confidence. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY!
