I too am a victim of this scam site. I recently purchased virtual gold from this website about 300 million plus zenny. I spoke to their live chat operator before hand to see if they had the currency available for trade or I would not have made purchase.
I was advised "yes" that the currency is available and I would receive in 30 minutes. I go and purchase the golds through their website totaling about $21.54 and get back to the agent to confirm payment. We verify my information to confirm that it was my payment and the agent tells me it'll be ready in 30 minutes.
I return the next day at around 10:54 am and is now told that the supplier is offline and that it is 2 am and to wait till morning. I wait till 1:00 am following day and send another message in live chat, she said golds will be mailed to me when in the afternoon my time.
I check back the following day and speak to live chat again and asked for a refund and was told it would be available in 24 hours through Paypal.
The next day did not receive payment ask I asked for. So I filed a dispute through paypal for non receipt of item, and then contacted live chat, they told me they would send me gold when I cancel the dispute. I looked through the forums of Paypal to discover that this has happened to other consumers as well and has gone to disputes through Paypal and Paypal has always ruled in favor of the Seller because virtual goods is considered intangible and is not covered in their Protection Plan.
I also read that consumers on Paypal were requested from the Seller to cancel dispute and they would receive their Virtual Goods and which seemed it would be resolved and then the consumer canceled the dispute. Well the consumer did not receive the goods as promised and I have a feeling this is going to turn out the same way for me.
My dispute is still pending and I am going to escalate it tomorrow on 10/14/11 of which I'm sure the outcome will be the same. Do not buy from TopVipGold.com, you will get scammed, worst of all there's no protection from it from Paypal and they don't plan to protect you from it.
