Complaint Review: TORNADO OFFICE SUPPLY

I was contacted yesterday by Shannon Cooley.Ms. Cooley had my first and last name. She has what you would call a raspy, smokers voice. She said she was relocating to Arizona and that her husband had picked out the new name Tornado for the company once they moved. She said she had got my name form my supervisor (she knew his first and last name also) and it was ok to place an order with her. The prices were great that she quoted me and I gave her a PO and placed an order.

I had realized last night I did not receive any information from the sales person re: remittance address and became worried. My supervisor was not in the office at the time she called yesterday so I didn't speak with him until today. He said he had never spoke with Shannon nor had he given her my name. I did a search on google of Tornado Office Supplies and RIPOFF REPORT came up. Needless to say, I became upset and worried.

I went to the BBB site and got their phone number and fax number. I called and left a message then faxed over a letter stating that Ms. cooley had not spoke with my supervisor as she claimed and we would be refusing any shipments from their company.

Kelly called a few minutes ago from Tornado Office Supply and said they received my fax and the order had been canceled. We'll see. I put the shipping department on alert to refuse any packages fron an office supply store or from Arizona.
