Complaint Review: Tornado Office Systems

Wow! I'm honestly frightened by the effectiveness of this scam. I consider myself savvy, but I fell hook, line and sinker. These people do their homework!

They seemed to know one of our management personnel very well and claimed to be a former client of his and stated that he had referred them to me. They seemed to know little things about the company too.

After I go off the phone with "Jean Wallace"? I started doing the figures and realized this was going to be a bigger bill than I had anticipated. I wanted to adjust the order, bu I realized I hadn't gotten her phone number, so I went to the person who supposedly referred her to me and he didn't know who she was or who the company was.

I went to look it up online and then that was when I found scam report after scam report of people telling the same story as me. While I was reading thru the reports I did find a telephone number and got an answering machine message for Tornado Office Systems. I canceled my order via voice message, I hope it works. Oterwise we will be refusing the shipment immediately when it comes in the door.

Don't get caught in this trap!
