This experience has been horrible and I am left emotionally scarred. I tried going to the human rights commission where there are apparently a number of complaints filed as well as hiring a lawyer but unfortunately I don't have the energy nor the emotional strength, so I found this outlet to let others know about my experience. The school uses intimidation tactics, is disorganized, and operates like a business and not like an educational institution. There are some colleagues of mine that were allowed to pass their exams and finish the semester if they paid a little extra, or if they just looked prettier or were of the right religion... They operate as a typical organized crime and students are constantly pushed out without receiving the proper instruction with expectations of having to pay extra to continue to graduate. It's blatant extortion!! Organized crime department should investigate them for tax evasion and the human rights commission should investigate them for discrimination practices. Such a toxic atmosphere and attitude of the staff that I left the school sick every day. There was a group of us that are now compiling our stories and are no longer afraid of speaking up! The instructors are weak and don't have enough experience to actually teach. It's like they will recruit anyone as long as they don't need to pay them much. It's like a revolving door and as a student you don't feel any support. You're just a number with a bill to pay.

Apart from this, the school also discriminates only admitting students that they 'like', and graduates those that are 'good' to the management. Such BS. They are also very unprofessional even saying bad things about George Brown college dental hygiene program as well as other colleges. I want to say that I graduated, and am not some bitter past student that got kicked out. I feel like I lost 18 months of my life to vampires and nasty teachers who only care about making their hours and would rather gossip and make friends with students instead of actually teach. Okay may be I am bitter, but I think that if you're paying for an education you should get education and not pay a business and then find other people and pay extra to continue along. Bad bad bad school!!! J.M.
