May 11, 2012 I ordered serial #181116, part#PSC4AU-00Y00W Toshiba Laptop for $479.64 that stopped working & was return & replaced w/ a remanufactury unit that has Windows 8 , not 7 like the original.  This followed returning the original laptop twice before receiving a replacement.  

The remanufactured laptop w/ the help of three diffrent Toshiba Service people have been unable to get the laptop to hook-up to the internet. Today, Toshiba called & offered a refund around $200.00 to settle which I refused since the original computer was less than one year old. They ended the conversation saying thats "the best we can do".

Jamie w/ Toshiba called me from 855-641-6920 saying they "were closing oout my claim the end of June, would I accept $279.93 in settlement of my case?

Sounds like she as not heard from you yet.  Pls talk to her & advise.
