Toshiba ripoff
purchased a laptop toshiba in april it came equiped with a dvd drive, the salesman did not inform us that a dvd is only to play movies & music..its useless as far as i'm concered.
ordered the correct part after finding out the usage of a dvd, took 5 calls to toshiba before anyone could tell me why i could not load a cd
or do a backup...
here it is almost june & no sign of a part yet, toshiba claims it will be coming, other companies i contacted have stated the part is discontued..what a rip off....
only have an a drive to use, that isn't much good for all new programs that come on cd's.
