I bought the laptop at a cost of $3,000 and after being on the market for two months Toshiba pulled it from the market and discontinued. The laptop was serviced seven times replacing the following: (5) DVD drives, (2) wireless card, (1) hard-drive, (3) LCD Modules, (3) PCB Assemblies-motherboards, (1) cooling fan, (1) outer case they scratched during service, (2) CPU's.

The laptop always ran hot and the TV card was flawed and extremely slow where the picture would hesitate. The last repair that was done took Toshiba three months to repair and send it back to me via FEDEX and they underinsured it. I lost during shipment back to me and FEDEX paid Toshiba $1100 for the loss. I never received a dime for the lost laptop and Toshiba offered me $1108.11 to buy out my computer warranty which the policy was written and paid for to include FULL Replacement if a minimum of (4) of the same component needed to be replaced.

I was to by Toshiba's Dave Aburto that my computer was worth only $200 and that if I did not like it I could take them to court. I am sickened that I paid so much for this laptop and seldom had the opportunity to use it because it was in the shop so much of the time.

I asked Toshiba to replace my laptop according to my warranty back in November 2005 after they lost it. I asked them for a new G25-AV513 which is closest to my original laptop specifications and I was laughed at. The G25-AV513 lists for $2399 which is $500 less than I paid for my original laptop.

The last repair started in late September 2005 and I still do not have a computer. Toshiba just does not care about their customers and I strongly suggest you do not buy any Toshiba products because they will not stand behind them.

I purchased a Toshiba Satellite in 10/2002 and by Dec it wss malfunctioning, blue screen errors etc. I sent it back 3 times for the same problems. It never was fixed.

I had the extended warranty that included a 1 time replacement. I also asked for the replacement. They refused, and told me to send it back again. They ran me out of warranty, which I believe is the SOP of Toshiba.

I paid $2600 for mine, and got little use of it.

They also sent mine uninsured by Fedex and it was left on my front door step in OKC OK without signature. It sat there for 3 days before we noticed it, as we did not use that door [was marked, use other door]. The door that was used was totally obvious.

NEVER buy Toshiba!!!

Never buy the extended warranty.
