Total Mortgage Protection Liars! Hired me to do notary work and now won't pay me. ripoff West Palm Beach Florida
Total Mortgage Protection, LLC out of Florida hired me to do notary work for them. They said they would pay me $50.00 for my services. Now they won't send me my fee.
If you are a notary public or someone who wants to purchase mortgage insurance, think twice before dealing with this company. If they will cheat someone out a small fee of $50.00, what else would they do??
The most irritating thing of all is that they are members of the Better Business Bureau. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they won't do a thing about it. It's nice to know how the BBB deals with their own members.
Don't ever count on the BBB to protect you or come to your aid, because they won't!

Dear Ohio Natary!
If we were misrespresenting or trying to scam someone do you really think we would post our toll free number and extension? Unlike yourself, we did not hide behind an alias. Apparently you must have a lot of free time on your hands these days to be spending them harrassing legitimate companies that ALWAYS resolve and inconvenience's clients may have.
As Shawn mentioned, we deal with as many as 300 notaries nationwide. Do yuo see us posting complaints about the many "mishaps" and "missed appointments" we experienced??? No, we always give the benefit of the doubt and try to resolve the problem rather than create postings like this because we feel everyone can make a mistake and desreves a second chance. 6 problems (resolved) out of 300 notaries and nearly 2000 transactions. That is a GREAT number.
Why don't you list your "mishaps".. how many times did you show up late to appointments, fail to get "all" signatures or worse not show up at all???

You tracked me down??? What a laugh!

This company made NO attempt to "track me down". I called, faxed, and e-mailed multiple times to both Accounts Payable and the owner and got nowhere. Every time I tried Accounts Payable, they coincidentally weren't there for many varying reasons. I had to file a complaint before I got paid. But thanks for the laugh so early in my day!
And you mean to say that you are actually bragging about "only 6 issues of people not getting paid"?? Amazing! Personally, that's something I don't think I'd brag about. I don't believe anything else you've said in your response, so why would I believe that there were only 6?
I can't stress this enough. If you're looking to purchase mortgage protection insurance or work for this company, PLEASE.....do your research.

Total Mortgage Protection Response:

I have tracked down the person that reported Total Mortgage Protection to your company and I will not name her. She has been paid!
Due to reorganization, I informed the notaries of potential delays in payment. (Think about it, it's kind of crazy when a total stranger comes into a position such as Accounting and has to suddenly make sense of whatever the last person left them.)
It is my responsibility to find a notary and make sure they get paid. I work with over 300 notaries across the country and only 6 had issues of not getting paid in a timely fashion. However, those 6 people contacted me as directed and we resolved the subject.
The person that made this report clearly did not call me and chose to post this complaint rather than handle the problem in a professional manner. My name is Shawn G. and I can be reached at 866-414-3700, ext. 49.
Total Mortgage Protection is a great company and I am willing to make sure everyone knows it. Call me if you have a problem with us. I'm sure it can be worked out. You just have to call.
