These charges started showing up on my AT&T bill this past August as Misc. Charges - Enhance VM - so I called AT&T who told me I must call OAN directly to stop the services which I never agreed to in any signed agreement with AT&T!

I thought I got rid of OAN last month( no billing in October) - then it shows up again on this months' billing on my AT&T bill! I called AT& T again and asked to dispute these charges, and put a MISC.Charges block on my account to prevent further billing.

Then I had to call OAN directly! What a pain - why doesn't AT& contact the consumer when these companies start tacking on these bills if it's not part of the consumers service agreement with AT&T?

The service rep for OAN tried to tell me I signed up for Enhanced VM via internet with my email address - NO WAY! I called 1-800-926-7514, which patched me through to 1-800-215-1961- where my "friendly" non-american service rep could not explain why the biling stopped on month then just "re-appeared" on this months' bill.

I explained to her - if she did not put an immediate stop to this false and fraudulent billing, I was sending the info to the NC Attorney General( which I still may do anyway - consumers need to be protected). I demanded a full refund for total amount billed since August when this started - she was going to credit it to my AT&T account.

I told her send ME the $$ - we'll see what happens from here - I should have my check in 7-10 days per our conversation.
