Complaint Review: Total Package Auto LLC

 I purchased a car(2000 Audi A6) from total advanced auto in August of 2015 I put $2,800 down on the car. I was buying it for $4,300 financing it (come to find out the kelly blue book value on this car in good condition is $2,000) and supposed to pay $200 bi -weekly. While test driving the car Ryan rode with me which I thought was weird. The reason why he rode with me come to find out is because he was rushing me BC while test driving the air bag light popped up. He admitted to resetting it before I came and there were some other issues like lights inside the car didnt work, no spare tire, locks only work by putting key in door and turning it dash board light was broken ect. but i let those slide didnt see any mechanical other then the airbag light. When I brought it up he said they would fix it (air bag sensor) It is a $300 part and $700 to fix I can't get the car inspected (there was NO INSPECTION on the car) and I couldn't register it without valid inspection. Ryan didy paper work and put the wrong name down on my paper work I don't realize it until I get to DMV. He claimed it would take 3 days to get the part. Three weeks go by I called, texted for those two weeks with no answer or reply. So I found their Facebook page and wrote them with SS of the text messages and call log. That night at 11 pm I get a call from Ray Baskerville I didn't answer BC I was at the hospital and it was LATE. He blew my phone up so my boyfriend answered he cussed and yelled at my boyfriend and hung up. So I called back angry and he said "you f****** told me to call immediately" blah blah I said I've been trying to call your partner with no answer about the airbag part. He said he'd have Ryan call me. Two days later I get a call from Ryan saying his phone is messed up he claims he never got any calls or text from me. My tags are dead at this time I get pulled over and get 5 tickets due to dead tags, dead registration etc. (I haven't made a payment BC I can't register my car BC the paper work is wrong and can't get inspection die to air bag light being on) would you make a payment?! I finally hear from the three weeks after my 30 day tags & registration are dead and they say bring the car we will fix the part. I drive 1 1/2 hours to Alexandria VA and when I get there I pay $200 then after they get the payment they claim they are repoing the car. So I freak out threaten claim to call the BBB and the police. He get his mechanic to look at the car for the air bag light. I sit there for 3 hours. He cones back says my mechanic is going to order the part give me a week. I said well I need copy of title to get car registered tags are dead. Ray Baskerville says he will give me new set of 30 day tags and charging me an extra $200 in charges for late fees etc. He says he will fed ex copy of paper work and title in 3 days so I can get regular tags. I wait two weeks call, text etc. Nothing time goes by and tags die. Its two weeks before Christmas I've been in hospital due to blood clot in my lungs, I caught MRSA, ammonia I get a knock on the door at midnight I had gotten home from hospital 3 hours before. Its ray and Ryan. They want to repo the car. They yell, threaten me, wake up the neighborhood, call us racist (we have black neighbors) not true or cool. Threaten to sue me if they bring a tow truck. Tell me they don't know how I work for the government. My Mom must hate me ect. Bashing me loudly. I eventually gave the car to them. I called my mom while they were there Ryan talked to her lied to her said if she paid $436.28 I could have the car back she said she would tomorrow she needed to get it together. Then the next day they tell her right before she makes the payment (which is breaking my contract) that the car has a bunch of issues breaks, tire rod like 10 things wrong (his mechanic looked at it remember and there was nothing wrong then) it had only been a month since his mechanic checked it. He claims they want the car paid off IN FULL $4,500 MINUS THE $2,800 I GAVE THEM ALREADY to give me back the car due to liability issues of me not registering it!!! Are you kidding me they wouldn't give me the proper paper work to register it nor fix the part they promised to fix for my inspection!! They robbed me of $2,800 which is a lot for me and took the car which is only worth $2000 they were selling it over double the price (which I should have checked) but still these guys are scam artist and saw easy, young, first time car buyers and preyed on us! Ray claimed he has kids to feed and needed my car payments to do that but didn't mind robbing me or my kid!! BEWARE DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCHEME OR BUY THEIR OVER PRICED SHITTY CARS!! I WILL TELL MY STORY AND PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS SO NO ONE ELSE GETS SCREWED!!!
