I purchased merchandise from Frank Allen in February of 2002. The item was a defective piece of junk and did not fulfill the guarantee he had promised. Upon returning the merchandise, he has simply not returned my $238. Discover Card states "We have investigated your inquiry and have been unable to substantiate your claim, which is why the charge was placed back on your Account."

I returned the item with US Postal Service Delivery Confirmation and insured the package for $200. Upon providing this information to Discover Card, they are still unable to help me get my money back. It would appear that they (Discover) are allowing Frank Allen to continue ripping people off by continuing to allow him to utilize their service.

It has been nearly ten months now, since February 22nd, 2002, of wasted time communicating with Frank Allen and Discover Card Customer Service. Frank Allen has called my home several times, assuring me that no action is necessary to recover my money. He sounds like a nice guy when you talk to him. Apparently that doesn't stop him from being a thief.

It is often hard to find the web site because the name is changed slightly.
