April 2, 2002 Called their 800 Number (877/218-0991), spoke with Savannah and was instructed to return the defective unit. She assured me that my card would be credited the full amount by the next billing statement.
May 24, 2002 at 10 AM Called and spoke with James as Savannah was on another line. His research showed that a refund had been credited. He will check with their card company to see what happened and call right back.
May 24, 2002 at 11 AM Called and spoke with Savannah, who explained that on day of the refund their system was down. James was still on phone with their card company and would return my call within minutes.
May 24, 2002 at 11:30 AM Called and spoke with Savannah. She stated their account was debited last Tuesday with my refund but their card company can't find where the payment was sent. A new refund payment will be issued today.
May 28, 2002 at 10:15 AM Called and spoke with Savannah. Savannah stated that the refund transaction was completed by their card company on Friday and over the phone in order to expedite the request.
May 28, 2002 at 10:30 AM Called my AT&T Visa Credit Card Company (800/423-4343) and spoke with Bernie. The refund had not appeared and I initiated a Disputed Item request against Total TV Broward and was given case number 3240-28May02.
