Please be advised that Town and Country Credit in Downers Grove has been closed for 9 months. They were owned by Ameriquest Mortgage. In my investigation of them I found the Ocwen Federal Bank was somehow associated with Town and Country Credit. When I made a phone call to who I thought was Town and Country Credit the person answered the phone Ocwen Bank.

On march 3, 2003 I signed documents at a closing to get a mortgage on my property.

After the closing the house was appraised

After the appraisal the loan was done and the checks were apparently sent.

I realised on the march 4, 2006 that the document needed to cancel the loan was not included in my documents.

I called Derick Hedlund at town and country credit to try to cancel the loan. The reponse was that he was not in and I was given the run around to get the appropriate document needed to cancel the loan. I had a Fax Machine in my Computer.

Needless to say the next day I called Derrich Hedlund to cancel the loan He said the loan has been funded and the checks were sent. This was a Lie. He gave me a ficticious FED X Routing number in an effort to buy a few more days.

I asked for the rest of my closing documents to be faxed to me. He said he would send them to me.

I got the closing documents in the mail about 10 days letter.

When I opened the envelope I was appalled to find forgeries and changes in the documents I had signed.

I sent letters to Town and Country Credit and the Dept of Banks and Realestate and even filed a report with the local Police Department in Downers Grove

To no avail now I am seeking restitution because it took Ocwen 5 months to give me a loan number and address to mail my payment. Needless by the time I realized anything I was 5 months behind in my mortgage, and subsuquently lost my home which I inherited from MY PARENTS after their death in 2001.

Derrick Hedlund was a forgerer and a liar in my situation.

I have documentation of the incidents that took place.

Because what you are saying doesn't make any sense.

You went to a closing in 2003, without an appraisal? How did they figure the worth of the home without this? Then you didn't realize until 2006 that documents were missing? Something isn't right here. What loan were you trying to cancel? How do you owe on something that doesn't exist? Who was the check supposedly sent to? And why would it take 5 months to realize that you hadn't made the payments required?

I own a home, I've been through the mortgage process. In my closing documents is the address where payments are to be sent, with the amount that will be due on a monthly basis. Having this knowledge (or even knowing the loan amount and interest being charged, using an online amoritization calculator will give you the monthly payment), why didn't you put this money aside for payment until you had the information that you needed to make your payment?

Finally, having documentation of the facts, proof of wrongdoing, why didn't you contact an attorney AS SOON AS you received paperwork from the bank indicating their intentions to foreclose?

If the facts are different from what I'm reading, I'm sure that clarification would give us a better understanding of what's going on. I look forwarding to reading your update.
