For the last 20 years the only place I have ever bought a vehicle was TOYOTA I was always satisfied with my purchase and loved my car, never missed a payment and always returned it in immaculate condition.

I turned my last lease back into TOYOTA on March 21, 2017.

I decided to go another route this time because I could not get the deal I was hoping to get.

What I did not realize was per TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES if you do not purchase that car or get another financed through Toyota they charge you a Disposition FEE, which I was just told is the money it takes to get the Car to Auction. You heard me right they charge you to transport the car that you have been leasing so they can auction it off. What a sweet business plan, pay to essentially rent the car and then pay even more then the payment so said company can go auction it off.

Now if you know me, you also know that I keep my car in excellent condition.  I leave the plastic on the floor boards so the carpet does not get any wear marks on it.  Before I turned this car back in, I took it and had it completely Detailed by a Professional inside and out so there was minimal if any prep work needed for auction.

I just received this letter from Toyota Financial stating I owed them $350.00 for a Disposition fee. Let me add, this is more than the payment on this car.  I asked if it was in the Truth & Lending Contract, they stated it was.  I just want everyone to beware so this does not happen to them.

This will be the last car I ever finance through Toyota. A 20 year, 5 car customer lost because they wanted to squeeze 350.00 dollars from the consumer. Give me a break.

Let me also add I had a 12,000 mile lease. When I turned it in It had roughly 9000 miles on it.  Tell me they did not make money on that car.  On top of the $350.00 I will have to give them

Don't EVER AGAIN Get Involved In A CAR FLEASE!

What you've found out is absolutely correct! It's a FLEASE! The ONLY reason they push car FLEASING is because they make much more profit than in a sale. Much of that profit comes from bogus, add-on, phoney fees in the front and back ends not to mention the black hole clause where YOU agree to pay whatever they want for "excess wear and tear". That clause in an of itself is the cause of GROSS EXAGGERATION and pure DECEPTION. They will tell you they need to perform work on the car to get it ready to sell as a used car but often times, they just pocket the money and sell it or send it to the auction. WITHOUT lifting a finger. Always remember, this is nothing but a pure CAR FLEASE and YOU were the one who got sheared. The Sleazy American Car Business has made billions using the bogus fee con-game. They come up with a number and give it some official sounding name for the purpose of DECEPTION. The CAR FLEASE is top heavy with such obvious tactics of FRAUD and DECEPTION.
