Toyota of Roswell service a rip-off
About a year ago I took my 4-Runner into the Roswell Toyota dealership in GA for a 30'000 mile service. On the phone they said the service was around 275.00.
After they completed the service they handed me a bill for $705.00. After I complained about the bill a manager told me they charged me the wrong hourly rate for labor, and lowered it to 595.00. I found it odd that they would charge different labor rates for different vehicles and I told him this was still too much. Then he told me they put the more expensive platinum spark plugs in the car, which I did not approve. I made him take them out which finally lowered the bill to $350. Still I was not satisfied so I complained further, and after threatening to go to the Better Business Bureau, the authorities and numerous consumer advocacy groups, he signed off on $295.00 for the service and said that was as low as he was going.

As an employee of the dealership mentioned, I would like to know how your company can tell what is reality and what is an unhappy person making a total untruth. I would think that as a company yourself you would make very sure of a story being accurate before you would assist in helping publish it on the web. It would be nice if you could tell me your guidelines for checking statements being made or put these guidelines up on your sight for others to read so that all involved would understand. Thanks
