If you 'Google' the two words ENGINE SLUDGE you can read the most recent complaint about a Camry that has SLUDGED! The Service Department wants to charge this customer $600 just to do the test!!

Maybe, if we help Mr. Jim Press (Toyota's ex-CEO) who is now at Chrysler, he will help the MANY innocent people that are suffering due to Toyota's FAULTY ENGINE DESIGN which is the reason for the Sludging Engines. All Jim Press has to do is contact the Media and TELL THE TRUTH!

I have composed four 'Slogan-Poems' that Chrysler can use to increase their sales, at no cost to Chrysler. All I ask is that Mr. Jim Press comes forward and HELPS the people. Here are the four 'Slogan-Poems' for you Mr. Press. I know that they will work and greatly increase Chrysler's sales and bottom line.

SLOGAN POEMS:

Don't want a Chrysler
'Cause you're holding a grudge?
Before you buy a Toyota
You better 'Google' ENGINE SLUDGE!

Chocolate chip cookies
Brownies with fudge!
Our Hemis are running
Because Hemis don't SLUDGE!

Easter Bunny is coming
With jelly-beans and fudge!
He's driving a Chrysler
'Cause his Toyota's got SLUDGE!

Trade in your Toyota for a Chrysler
Because Toyota's will Sludge.
If you sue Toyota you'll lose
Because they'll pay off the Judge!

These Slogan-Poems can be used by ANY auto manufacturer if Chrysler chooses not to use them. Simply plug in your Brand Name where you see the word Chrysler. Again, NO COST TO YOU!! Imagine how much SAATCHI & SAATCHI Advertising Agency would charge for these Slogan Poems? ( or is it Saachi & Saachi? I think I was right the first time, the second spelling doesn't look right.)

P.S. Charlene, if Chrysler can't afford to put these Slogan-Poems to work for them, I have an idea! You have 2,300+ people in your petition, correct? If they all pitch in $100 each, then we can put Full Page Ads in Newspapers all over the USA with my Slogan-Poems in these Newspapers. Just think, $230,000 will buy a lot of ad space. Let me know what you think.

A Quote fo all:

'Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.' - Albert Einstein (he must have had the Auto Industry Executives in mind when he came up with that one!!!)

Will Jim Press Continue to Blame the Vehicle Owners for Engine Oil Sludge? Will Chrysler Owners Put Him to the SLUDGE TEST?

#4Consumer Comment

Karl, the true SLUDGE TEST will come when the Chrysler owners come to him with ENGINE OIL SLUDGE and await his reaction. We know from reading the Center for Auto Safety's web site that Chrysler is one of the handful of automakers that also has a sludge problem. Who would have thought that Toyota would rank with Chrysler on this very serious engine malady?

Anyway, time will tell what Jim Press will do with this on-going issue at Chrysler. Has Chrysler enlisted him to carry out the same plan there as at Toyota? You know the drill....BLAME THE OWNER for not properly maintaining their vehicles and then scalp them for the cost of TOTAL ENGINE REPLACEMENT! What will Jim Press do as he walks into this situation at Chrysler. After all, the Center for Auto Safety has sent dozens of letters to Chrysler imploring it to DO THE RIGHT THING. CAS even cited the actions of Toyota and Volkswagen in its plea to Chrysler. Unfortunately, CAS didn't show its Toyota owner complaints that show an ineffective engine oil sludge program under Jim Press's leadership.

Don't get me wrong...I am all for Jim Press's success at Chrysler. I actually was hoping that he would be the honest one at Toyota and REMEDY the engine oil sludge crisis there. Unfortunately, according to Toyota owners, the announcement of the "Customer Support Program for Engine Oil Gelation" was just that...an announcement. Many Toyota owners are calling it a bogus program implemented just to appease the NHTSA and get the press and the most vocal Toyota owners off its back.

Have you watched the YouTube video that a 2003 Sequoia owner made? He cites that it is one thing to have a manufacturing defect. He goes on to say that it is quite another to CONCEAL the defect and DELAY a recall in the wake of true evidence of a problem. Isn't this the PATTERN that Toyota has shown over the last decade? Is this also the pattern that Mr. Press will show at Chrysler?

It is entirely up to the owners (and they will need to be vocal and acting in concert) to keep the pressure on the automaker to do the right thing. This does NOT mean just make an announcement of a program with empty promises. Why, this is even worse than doing nothing! Didn't anyone ever tell Toyota that deception is a very serious fault?

Personally, I think the true test will come as both Toyota owners AND Chrysler owners watch what Mr. Press does with the engine oil sludge matter. Apparently, he left Toyota with the Toyota owners holding the bag of thick, black, goopy SLUDGE!! The problem has YET to be PROPERLY RESOLVED, lawsuit or not. Toyota took the easy road out of that problem and it continues to stonewall customers with legitimate serious engine problems.

Know what I resent the most??? I just read a quote that says Jim Press is going to put emphasis on the CUSTOMER at Chrysler!! Hmmmm...does he truly believe that is what he did in the TOYOTA ENGINE OIL SLUDGE matter?? Does he mean that the customer will be appeased with empty promises? Does he mean that customers will get lip service to the problems as they encounter smooth-talking "Customer Generated Media" experts speaking on behalf of the company?

Just as all eyes were on Toyota during the engine oil sludge debacle, now all eyes will be on Jim Press to see if can pull Chrysler out of the depths of crude black, contaminated, engine oil!

The engine oil sludge problem is but one problem among many that Toyota owners consider unresolved. Why didn't Jim Press bring some closure to these issues before he left? Why is he abandoning ship in the middle of the storm??

It is true...the 2300 faces behind the "Toyota Owners Unite for Resolution" online petition signatures represent real-life scenarios that have yet to be resolved. For all Toyota's monitoring of what is being said about it online, I never ONCE got any recognition from either Jim Press or Bruce C. Ertmann that these Toyota owners matter to them!! No, instead, I got someone trying to protect Toyota coming to my petition in an effort to SABOTAGE it, to take it down, to COVER-UP these 2300 Toyota owner faces!! The saboteur claims that the contact information is phony. Actually, the only fake info is that of the saboteur's. What's wrong with this picture?!

Back in 2004 when some 10,000 posts were made by online Toyota owners seeking to resolve their vehicle problems, the site (The Complaint Station for Toyota) was hacked and then out of commission. All evidence of the site then disappeared from the internet. The Cartrackers(dot)com site, along with the Toyota forum, had the same thing happen at roughly the same time.

We all know that Toyota has been in a race to be number one. Would it stoop to the level of interfering with Toyota owners' freedom of speech? Would it seek to manipulate public opinion about the company? Would it support defamation of the most vocal Toyota owners in an effort to prevent distribution of vital vehicle defect information? Would it seek to eliminate any negative online information about it in whatever way it could?

Well, the Toyota owners have their opinions. I think you can guess what they might be! Certainly, the thousands of owners who have signed the online Toyota petition do not feel that Toyota has placed emphasis on the CUSTOMER. They feel that Toyota has placed emphasis on its own bottom line and nothing more!

Good luck to the Toyota owners who hold the company accountable for major defects and who monitor the company's actions after the promises (to appease the NHTSA) are made! SPEAK UP!
