I ordered items from this company (a video games / anime merchandise shop with online purchasing) in mid November 2006. I was told they would arrive in 1-4 weeks. When it reached the 4 week deadline I contacted the company and was eventually told (on the 28th December) that they would resend. Despite sending a number of e-mails to them, I heard nothing until the 22nd February when I was asked how much refund was owed to me. Having told them this (around $50), I was passed onto the manager who told me on 15th March (a full four months since my initial order) that they could not process a refund until the post office had completed an investigation into what had happened to the parcel.

In the meantime, I no longer want the goods anyway as it was intended as a Christmas present for someone else, and so have no interest in what happened to the parcel! Therefore the post office investigation is of no relevance to me. I am in the UK and so am limited in what I can actually do about the fact that these people have $50 of my money which they are apparently very reticent to return to me.
