Complaint Review: TracFone

TracFone ripoff not supply services bought & would not credit cc account, cancelled service when disputed cc charge Miami Florida

I tried to purchase time (months) and air time on TracFone web site. Had to pay with cc first. Had problems, would not accept codes. Called 800 number.

Tracfone would not provide what was advertised & paid for - $103. Asked for credit to credit card - denied. Talked to two supervisors; no satisfaction.

Everyone at TracFone I talked to was beligerent, ugly, & intransigent when I would not accept their offer of less than I paid for, and would not reimburse my cc account with a credit.

When I disputed the charge - yes they charged the full amount even though I got nothing and no credit to cc - with the bank, and they honored the dispute, TracFone summarily cancelled my cell phone service even though I had 1 month of time & 306 minutes of service left - with no notice & no reimbursement.

I was left "holding the bag," with nothing at all. What a ripoff!
