Complaint Review: Tracfone Wireless

Tracfone Wireless rip-off! No customer service and loss of phone and minutes. Miami Florida

Tracfone turned off my phone, gave my number to someone else and has yet to keep their promise of replacing the phone and compensating my airtime. My phone plan was protected by the "stay active Plan" which assures the customer that the phone will remain active. Obiviously that was a waste of money.

Also, my airtime card was still active so therefore there was no reason for my phone to have been turned off. I called the customer service department to get an expalnation of what happened and all I got was the run around. Finally (after an hour) I was told that my phone was outdated and they would replace it and give my airtime minutes back to me. It is three weeks later and I have still not received a thing. I called again and was told that the phone was coming and was given a tracking # so that I could check on the status of the phone.

Guess what? No such tracking number exists! Now they are telling me that I should get the phone on Thursday, (today is Tues), but they could not give me a tracking #. RIPOFF!
