Trade in Rip-Off
On January 2 2000. I went looking for a truck. I found the one i wanted at Thorobred Chevrolet in Chandler Az.A 2000 Z-71 I traded in my 1987 blazer very good condition all they gave me for it was 3000 dollars because it had a lift kit on the frame I was told that thorobred could not sell it like that and would have to take the lift off and would cost them 1500 dollars. I was told by a salesman if the truck was not lifted I would of got 4500 hundred dollars for the trade in. A couple weeks after that I see my old blazer at a buy here pay here car lot I stopped to look at it and nothing was done to the truck absolutely nothing the truck still had the lift kit and to top it off the car lot wanted 8900 dollars for the blazer. I think I should get a refund of 1500 dollars. I contacted thorobred but they gave me a long story of how they sold it to the car lot they are not responsible they offered me a free tank of gas for the misunderstanding but I refused. If I have to I will file a complaint with the attorney generals office but I hope me and thorobred could work this out.
