We stopped in to this store located at 3460 MLK,jr and after looking at a flat-screen tv
in hopes of making this purchase, I spoke with a representative in the goods received
department. He has been at the store for over 3 years,so I figured he was the BEST
person to ask. I asked him did they take in older tvs,computers andfax machines, and
apply toward a purchase once he said yey I would want to apply this credit toward the
flat-screen hdtv we looked at.
His name was LaDonte. He responded, "Oh yeah and you get more of a credit from your
incoming items toward any purchase". With that, we went home and gave it more of a
thought due to his reassurance. We thus loaded the heavy items into our car and took up
most of the back seat and floor space to do so. Upon arriving at the store and bringing the
items to his attention just about a week later, he looked them over and they were exactly
as I'd described to him;he said c an't give you more than {3}dollars!!
We recently not more than a week later, sold them online for $90 for everything.
This behavior from La Donte(last or first name}has given us no reason to step inside the
store ever again nor recommend it to others!!!!

I'm sorry that you weren't happy with the offer that my buyer made. Our buyers must guage the speed with which items will sell, inventory levels, condition of item, and floor space available when they make an offer.
Sometimes low demand for a particular category of items, particularly older electronics, is very low. As you can imagine, tube tvs, fax machines, and older computers are in very low demand as they are, unfortunately, heading towards obsolescence. When we are faced with a low demand item that we are already overstocked on, we must make a lower offer so that we can price the item to move.
Typically high demand items like LED Tvs, tablets, Smartphones, Videogame systems, etc bring the best money.
Sadly, there is no accurate way for us to give you a price without seeing and inspecting the items that you wish to sell us, so we always ask the customer to bring the items in for appraissal.
We strive to please every customer, and normally pay far more than other secondhand dealers in our trade areas, but we cannot always pay what the customer wishes for an item.
I hope that you will utilize our services again, it may be that on some items you have we will be able to pay you a p rice that will please you, partcularly on higher demand electronics, gold, and gift cards.
