Tradeshow Data Center contacted me to notify me of an invoice that was overdue. Being the new manager in the department I had no idea what it was for.

I located the CD ROM in my office still in the original shipping box with the intent of sending it back to the company. I spoke to a woman named Patricia who notified me the account was past due and that the my company owed them over $700.00.

The product they were offering was never authorized to be purchased and Patricia told me she had the former manager of my departments phone conversation with her company recorded. She played it back for me and the former manager never authorized them to send the product.

I attempted to return the product back to Tradeshow Data Center via certified mail but they would not accept it back, saying it was past the 15 day return policy. I received many more phone calls asking about the payment and told Patricia she would have to contact the Vice President of our company on the matter.

After researching several websites and the BBB we found this to be a fraudulent company. We received a fax recently from "Commercial Debt Recovery Services" saying our accouunt was transferred to their agency for credit reporting and claims filing.

It is convenient that both companies are located in the same city. To date, we do not respond to any phone calls or faxes from either of these companies.

Please be aware as this company operates under several names. If you do receive a CD ROM from them do not accept it and return it immediately.
