There's this guy in the worcester office named jimmy who is a total sleazeball. My friend and i went in there after we got scouted by some guy near my house. jimmy started hitting on us the second we walked in the door. asking us if we're single, etc. then he starts asking my friend her measurements to "see if you have the right measurements to model" yeah right, he just wanted to know what her measurements were. perve.

then after the open call thing he asked us both if we wanted to enroll. he said that he'd put in a good word for us if we were thinking about it. then he said they were sponsoring some kinda hawaiin tropic thing in town and that if we went he would see us there.

WHAT A TOTAL PERVERT. someone should tell these employees they need to get dates outside the group of models they scout.

GROSS

Mike,

I was just in the Worcester office the other day on Tuesday the 14th and I do not remember meeting you. I do not think that you work for the company or that is not your real name. Also woman and men were taking measurements. There was some pervert there with a camera telling each person to stand facing the wall and put their hands behind there back so their chest stood out more.

I think anyone that works for the company is a pervert and a loser. Luckly I was smart enough to do some research before I handed my hard earned money over to TCT. They hire anyone and that is obvious. They told me I would be perfect for print modeling but the requirements for that are 5'3" or taller and I am just 5'1".

So dont tell me it is a good company to work for. Soon you will see when you get burnt and then what will you have to say.

Mike, Your Comprehension Sucks!

Yes, I guess you can tell I'm a tad irked. AGAIN, Kim NEVER said Jimmy was a Model Scout. She met him at your office AFTER she had been scouted.

You are just plain foolish. You interpret people's writings here to suit your comfort level. Why is your comprehension lacking? I also worked for this company, so don't try to portray all of us as a bunch of idiots. We've had our own personal experiences.

You tell us to get a life. You insinuate that we have nothing better to do w/ our meaningless existence other than to just hang out at this website. So let me ask you. What the heck are YOU doing here? And why do YOU continue to return? What doubts about the company led you to begin your own research? Or did one of your TC buddies tell you to check it out? We ALL have our reasons. I have two.

I can't stand liars, cheats, and deceptive creeps. I want to see these people brought down. Secondly, I have a heart. It really BOTHERS me to see people taken for their hard earned cash and to have their hopes and dreams stomped on by low class, uncaring scum.

You come here bragging about how you love your job and office. You are repetitive w/ your denials. Answer this. Did you, or did you not, have some kind of Hawaiian Tropic event about the time of Kim's posting? Could Jimmy have been in your office to discuss this event w/ your management? I DO NOT think he worked for TC. My thinking is, he worked as some kind of sponsor for Hawaiian Tropic. He was probably hanging out in the waiting area w/ your 'open call' individuals, trying to hit on them. And don't tell me that is not possible. I have sat at the desk in those waiting areas herding the model wannabees in and out.

I tend to agree w/ Ed. I have a feeling you are fairly new to this company. So far, you haven't denied his statement. And maybe your office is an exception, but other offices have both males and females doing measurements. Maybe someone else out there would like to add to the comment I just made.

I have been pretty cool, calm, and collected w/ my previous postings here, but YOU rattled my cage. Ignorance disturbs me. Just remember, that piddly paycheck you get came from someone's blood, sweat, and tears. Pleasant dreams.

I have been absent from these posts for a while. Previously writing under the name Bill I no longer have the need to do so. I broke free of corporate headquarters a couple weeks back. Anyway, this guy is amusing if he thinks people should get a life simply because they dislike E-Model/Options/TC Talent.

These people want their money/dreams back you idiot. The company is not successful at all. Go read about them, but look both at the problems they have had in the operations and then read about their financial status. Neither is good.

Oh, for anyone who was in the corporate offices when Lou took over you would know that there was talk about the stock price getting up by January or February. That was one of the goals of management and Lou. It is funny. After doing the reverse split the stock which had been at 7 cents per share skyrocketed (sarcasm) to 2 dollars and 60 cents. This is the success this guy refers to right? lol Anyway, the financials are so great and the business plan so solid that the stock has taken off again. STRAIGHT DOWN!!!!! Down to 1.60 a share.

GET A LIFE !

Solicit means to sell a product on the spot, and try to obtain money from someone right then and there. That is not what scouts do, they have a conversation then hand a business card to invite them to a free evaluation, there is no money involved or even mentioned, so it is very difficult to solicit someone without asking for money. Another thing, is your life that miserable where you spend all your time trying to talk negative about a successful company. I have had many good experiences with this company, and models have thanked me many times for giving them the oppportunity to get in the industry. So get a life or a hobby or something. Stop being so negative about life, are you depressed or something? Is life not good for you? I love this company, and everything it offers, instead of focusing on the negative, why don't you guys do a positive story.

Mike,

You are very obviously new to this scam/business. There is a reason why you do not recognize "jimmy," because perhaps that is not his real name. This company sues its employees and ex-employees. Do you think he might want to protect his/her identity? You see, we have wide array of information assets targeting your organization internationally.

All I can say is that there are specific laws governing what you do and you can not rely on this company to back you up. If you get into ANY trouble, as many have, do not expect the company to back you up or bail you out. You are on your own. Most of you are independent contractors, which means the corporation bears no responsibility for your actions.

If in court your tell the judge that you were told to do this or that by Options/TC Talent, expect them to deny it. For example, how much time do you spend "scouting" in malls? Did they tell you that they had cleared it with security? (Or maybe you were too ignorant to ask that question.) "Scouting" is soliciting for a business and most malls are private property. That means you can be arrested. Think about it!!!

You people need to get a life. I am a scout in the Worcester office. Only scouts appear and help out in open calls, not model reps. There has never been a scout to have been employed through this office by the name of "jimmy". And male scouts do not do measurements, only females do, that's why that accusation is completely false.

Another thing you people need to realize is that we are not an agency, we do not book models directly on jobs. We expose them to the industry. We do not guarantee success. We guarantee exposure. It's a shame that we live in such a negative society, and that someone would make a false complaint on such a professionally ran office in Worcester.

I am very proud to work for this office, and not only that. Since, working here I have scouted a number of people who have been quite happy with the work they have received through this company. They have thanked me numerous times each time they get booked out on a job.

Not everyone I have scouted has got work, but that is just the nature of the modeling business, not everyone is going to be successful. I feel good about discovering potential models and look forward to a bright future with this company.

#9Consumer Suggestion

Sat, November 16, 2002

Mike,

I would suggest you reread Kim's complaint. She never said Jimmy scouted her. It appears it was another individual who scouted Kim near her home. She said Jimmy was in your office when she went for her 'open call'.

There was mention made of a sponsoring of some Hawaiian Tropic event in your area. The content of Kim's message also said Jimmy ASKED the girl's measurements. It didn't sound to me like he actually TOOK them.

Could it be Jimmy was at your office as a representative of Hawaiian Tropic? He did say he could "put in a good word" for the girls. If he was actually one of the interviewers, seems he would have enough clout to make model acceptance decisions himself. I'm sure even you know, most all of the potential models are accepted anyway. Just how good looking does a person have to be to pass out flyers at events? They call that modeling???

I'm not familiar with your office and I certainly have no way to know if Kim's message was truthful. I just wanted to clarify what I believe the message indicated.

That report is totally false, I work in the worcester office and that would never of have occurred, it is an extremely professional office. Most importantly there has never been a scout by the name of "jimmy" to ever have worked here. It's a shame that the models we reject because they don't have potential get upset and make false complaints.
