In July 2001 we were convinced to allow Trans Max Transmissions at 1210 N. Semoran Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32807 to repair the transmission of our Ford Taurus with the promise of a three year warranty. Their sign promises an 18 month warranty. The transmission stopped working less than four months later.

Mr. Sam Myers tried to persuade us that a malfunctioning computer (the EEC-IV) behind the glove compartment was responsible for the breakdown of the transmission. This is a totally ridiculous and fraudant misrepresentation. He presented a receipt from Greenway Ford with an inflated price for the replacement of the part. Greenway is also a very unreliable and untrustworthy company (according to professionals with impecable credentials in Central Florida).

We told him we just wanted him to repair the transmission per the warranty. The car is still sitting outside his business because he can't profit from additional unnecessary repairs to our vehicle.

His repairman, Brian, refused to discuss with us any conversations or instructions he received from Sam Myers regarding our vehicle repair. "Talk to Sam. It's none of your business." They refuse to give us a date for the completion of the service. Brian indicated he was the "only one" working on the cars (a dozen vehicles are parked on the property).
