Complaint Review: Trans United Van Lines Elbaz Van Lines

In August I moved from Washington to Ohio. They were two days late picking up my belongings and the estimate was off so I had to pay an additional $200 on the spot in addition to a long carry that was unjustified.

My belongings were not delivered until the beginning of October and at one point, the company didn't even know where they were when I called to inquire about estimated delivery.

Upon delivery, every single piece of furniture was damaged - from rips and tears to total destruction of 4 book cases. I filed a damage claim and have not heard back yet. When I called to follow up, the number had been disconnected. The total cost of the move was around $3000 and the estimated damage costs were $2500.
