Had original contract with TransAuto for $750 (in early March 2014) for expedited pick up of a personal vehicle purchased online from dealer in Michigan. Car wasn't ready for pick up so I canceled the request for 'expedited pick up' and fee was supposed to change back to $650. Deposit was $175. More than two weeks went by with no pick up. Statements were made every day that they were going to pick up within 'a couple-of-days.' Once I realized they had no desire to perform, I emailed and phoned all Trans Auto points of contact to confirm deposit refund and cancel contract. Then I got smart and signed with another company based on their great reviews, Nations Auto, and gave them a $150 deposit. Over the following week, I continued to email and call TransAuto to get my deposit back but begin to realize they are never going to give it back. Jesus, a mid level manager at TransAuto, argues with me, to no end, that, he 'has a truck and will pick up my car today,' while I continue to stress that I want my deposit back, and that our business agreement is null and void due to failure to perform service. I clearly stated/demanded for him to return my deposit and that I have paid another deposit, to another transport company. I hung with that clear understanding to him but he was almost insane, one track mind to counter anything I said.  It was like arguing with Satan.

Meanwhile, as I await for a Nation's Auto truck to arrive to get my car in MI, Jesus not only does not return my deposit, but tasks a truck to pick up my car, without authorization by me, without contacting me, and WITHOUT A CONTRACT! He creates a new contract number, GBX377, and places a COD of $750 on it. Combined with the $175 deposit he had never returned to me, Jesus is trying to score big for TransAuto, because they've got me over a barrel for almost a grand, when the original contract, GBX133, was for $650! Classic mafia thug soviet block Kremlin KGB tactic that works very well to increase profit margin in Russia, now working well in USA. The dealer in Michigan I bought the car from didn't realize that this truck pick up was a TransAuto contracted driver and assumed it was the company I was currently signed with, Nations Auto, and so loads up my car..

The dealer then calls me with the good news that my car is on its way and I then called Nation's Auto to thank them for picking up the car (a 2010 Crown Vic Police Interceptor by the way), and also to get an arrival estimate. Thats when Nations Auto states they did not have thier truck in the area! I call fuming to TransAuto dispatch, who of course, hang up on the emotional customer who is accusing them of 'stealing' his car. Meanwhile, I get a voice message from Jesus who admits to authorizing the pick up and also admits, on voice mail (yes, i got u on tape TransAuto), that he went ahead and did this because I had said that I didn't trust Trans Auto's commitment to pick my car up.. I am not making this up folks! I had been watching scary youtube clips the night before of people getting their credit card shaken down for double amounts, so I raced to cancel my credit card and report it as stolen and left voice mail with 'Trudy', some babe who called a day before about my bad review of TransAuto on transportreviews.com who stated she was the queen bee of the entire east coast for TransAuto, to tell her that this new contract Jesus ginned up without my signature, GBX377, is bogus, and that I don't owe them $750 on COD. I only owe them $475 COD, MINUS the $150 deposit I gave Nation's Auto! Buuut of course it's the weekend and she doesn't answer.

By the by, I am a retired 20 year Air Force officer, currently in intelligence industry, who has been around the world a few times and even been in some pretty aggressive situaitons, but I have never, repeat *never,* experienced anything like this wild-wild-west joke of an industry. You got to realize, they effectively stole my car without contract, and are holding me hostage to a rate I didn't agree to.  Companies like TransAuto are criminal, and I am recording every word they say in preparation to do anything I can to communitcate the the world of inexperienced consumers, just what people like this will do to you once they get your number. By the way, my original post on transportreviews.com was kicked out because TransAuto said I was not a customer of theirs. Obviously, if you say thank for stealin my car, they will categorize you a customer but if you say get the hell away from my car, you're not.  And if you think the word 'stolen' doesn't fit the situation, you are wrong. What would happen if TransAuto wouldn't change the COD to the smaller amount..? That's right, the car I just bought on ebay would be impounded. That driver is not going to give those keys over until that COD amount is coughed up. So anyhoo, Trudy and her devil boy Hesus/Jesus sp? and her bully-company outfit kept passing me off to Hesus and never have given the deposit back.  Oh, I forgot to tell you how it turned out..  They totally ignored me and Hesus totally kept online with his demonic rendition of refusing logic, but I did have an ace.  I had got the driver's company name from the paperwork he left with the dealer and he was actually very helpful.  He knew this was a hot potato and agreed to return the car.  He really lost a lot of mileage over this but I'm sure TransAuto is smart enough to just give him my original deposit amount for his trouble.  So anyway, the car was dropped right back off in MI.  The driver's transport was, thank God, a one level - I spell no tranny fluid and oil dripping from cars above, so no damage had been done. Never have got word from TransAuto since.  Trudy is a coward who talks like she's a big exec but really just likes saying that while other people handle the dirty work because she wound up forwarding her calls to Hesus!  Ha ha. You're a coward and a thief Trudy.  Your BMW payment comes from stolen money.

So in the end, I won, you mob-gang thug punk of a 'company.'  I won because I got my car back, and will get my deposit too, because my bank is a TEXAS bank, and they will beat yours up and take my money back.  So I totaly win.  Hesus' little snickers as I went through my gyrations wasn't the end of the story.  I even win in the transport arena because I don't need you clowns.  Bought me a $455 plane ride up to MI this weekend and gonna RedBull it back to home state in my Crown Vic.  As for Hesus, I was thinking about him last episode of Walking Dead where they kick the crap out of this lying lyer and shoot him in the head with a bow gun,.. for being a lying liar, and a thief.  Wishin our world had justice like in the Bible, or in the old West..  Thinking how he'll be alright snatchin naive teens money or ticking off 20 somethings who can't take time off from work to fight him in court, or stealin old peoples money, who won't fight back because they're too tired, but one day that little snit will jack somebody's car that's not weak, or timid, or law abiding, and he'll wish he'd never been born.

Funny thing about it all, I really didn't care if I'd had to pay a grand to transport the car to home state.  I just wasn't going to be hi-jacked by a snit and coward.
