If we can warn even one person about this scam artist company, we will do our part. STAY AWAY FROM TRANSFIRST AKA MERCHANT EXPRESS, they are a bunch of con artists. They will sucker you into an agreement and then they start playing their rip off games.

We've contacted other merchant processing companies and even the Visa Mastercard Association, and they all agreed they are scamming their merchants. They will force you to sign documents for prearbitration of $100 or else they will not submit your response. NO ONE CHARGES FOR FEES FOR PREARBTITRATITION. They will charge you for every single piece of document which comes back and forth. Every single merchant processing company we've talked to Does Not Charge another $25 for a prearbitration. They will charge you for every time you get a repsonse back from a chargeback or preatribrtation.

Secondly, their Risk Management Department should be called their Scam Department. They will hold funds for a chargeback and then debit your bank account for the chargeback amount. Regardless of whether its a customer is attempting to commit mail order fraud, they will blame you. They will want 10 times, yes 10x, of what your monthly volume to steal from you as a reserve. If you do a $1000 a month, they will demand $10,000 as a reserve. And there's no guarantee they will give that money back to you.

Transfirst doesnt care about you as the merchant, they will make any excuse possible to steal your money. Our advise is never ship a product out unless they pay you. If they dont pay you for an item by depositing the funds into your bank account, you have no legal right to ship any product out. In the result of a chargeback incurred where they are holding funds, they are responsible for it, regardless of what they try blowing up your a** in their contract that states they can hold funds.

We have 3 fraudulent charges that they clearly knew was the buyer commiting mail order fraud. We took the loss not them. All of them were the result of their fault. They wanted to charge us an additional $100 each for them filing for an pre-arbitration fee. My other process which we currently have has never heard of it, nor has 5 other companies. Its a SCAM THEY ARE RUNNING. They hit you for another chargeback fee in addition to the original fee, which again is not disclosed in their contract. They will make your life a living h*ll!

Their risk management department will make up any and every excuse possible to disrupt your business, steal your money, make up kinds of fees to steal your money. We have moved away from these con artists and will never allow them to process a dime from us again! FU Merchant Express!

I caught you in two lies (two false claims that you were forced to sign) and proved that you don't understand basic math. Have you considered purchasing a dictionary and a calculator?

"Your the moron!"

The word is you're NOT your.

"You are truely a moron!"

The word is truly NOT truely. Truely is not a word.

A moron is a stupid person. I am clearly much smarter than you. If I am a moron--you are as stupid as a rock.

"Then they force you to sign another document"

That's the second time you claim they used force. Is this another false accusation or did they actually use a weapon or threat of bodily harm this time?

"If the cardholder disputes the original chargeback"

That doesn't make sense because merchants dispute chargebacks NOT the cardholder.

"their both the same"

They're NOT 'their'.

"We've contacted 5 different merchant processing companies including Visa themselves, and they said what they are doing is illegal"

What do you intend to do about that?

"We had the actual card holder's signed proof of delivery."

Without actually viewing the front and back of the card how do you know the cardholder signed the POD? Was a photo ID required? This is crucial to your case.

"They... want to hold a reserve account for 10x what your normal volume rate is. If you do $500 a month, they want $10,000"

Ten times 500 is 5000 NOT 10000.

You may want to reevaluate your cardholder verification process to reduce the number of chargebacks. Good luck.

Merchant Express TransFirst Con Artists

What we mean by force us to sign documents, is no other merchant processing company does what they do. When there's a chargeback, they will hit you with the standard chargeback fee (which everyone does).  If the cardholder disputes the original chargeback, it goes either what Mastercard calls a 2nd chargeback or Visa calls it a PreArbrititation, their both the same.

TransFirst/Merchant Express will nail you a second chargeback fee in addition to the first one, and no one else does that. Then they force you to sign another document, which is not disclosed in the original merchant agreement thats says, they will charge you $100 for acting upon your behalf for the PreArbitration. If goes to Arbrtiation they will hit you with another $400-$700 fee. That fee is normal according to Visa / Mastercard regulations. If you dont sign that $100 agreement they wont even submit the your response to the buyer's credit card company.

We've contacted 5 different merchant processing companies including Visa themselves, and they said what they are doing is illegal! If its not in the original agreement they cannot do that. We've lost 2 chargebacks because of these theives. They knew that 2 chargebacks where the clearly result of mail order fraud. We had the actual card holder's signed proof of delivery. The only reason why we lost was the fact that TransFirst aka Merchant Express never sent our response to the PreArb to the credit card company.

They sit there and make excuses whatsover. For every chargeback you get, the Risk Department will call you on every single one. They make every excuse possible to double dip your bank account, hold funds, and encourage chargebacks.

Visa & Mastercard advertise all over the place that its ok for buyer's to file a chargeback or dispute the charge. Then they set the same policy in complete opposite for the merchant. Transfirst is the king of the cons! They will use that against you and make any excuse possible to want to hold a reserve account for 10x what your normal volume rate is. If you do $500 a month, they want $10,000 in a held and they wont tell you went you get the money back. Translation, they want to steal it!

This is a violation of Consumer Affairs Act, falling under deceptive business practices. They will make you think they are Merchant Express and you'll research Merchant Express and find little complaints. Then after you sign the contract all of the sudden you find out they are really TransFirst. When you Google TransFirst in Colorado, you get pages upon pages of complaints from other merchants that they pull the same exact con job on!

"They will force you to sign documents"

There are many merchant credit card processors to choose from but you were forced to sign with Transfirst Merchant Express. It is a serious crime to force someone to sign a document.

What weapon did they hold to your head or were you threatened with bodily harm? Did you notify the police?
