TransGlobal National Consumers Group ripoff credit card rip-off scam liars Bel Air Maryland ..Thank You Rip-off Report

I received a call on 9/17/02 about 6:30pm from a Customer Service Representative for a company called Transglobal National Consumer Group. The lady calling identified herself as "Syeda" representing this credit card company.

She stated that I had been approved for a Visa card with a credit line of $2000.00. She stated she would need to verify my address, phone number and etc. She then asked if I had a checking or Savings account and I stated "yes", then she disclosed that there would be a one-time fee of $199.

Syeda (if that's her name) that this fee would cover all fee's for a life-time.(haha). So then I told her that I was very leary about this being scam and she assured me that everyting was legit. So like a fool I gave her my checking account information giving them permission to make the transaction, she also stated that I would get a pre-approved from to get a Mastercard for $2500, and all I would have to do is sign the form, return it, and the card would be sent.

Once I gave her the information she stated a member of their financial department would call me for verify that I had given permission for the with drawal, and that he did. He called I verfied and that was the end of the conversation. They gave me a Customer Service number of 416-488-2548, and trust me no ever answers the phone, and if they do, there is no supervisor, manager, or any other superior around to answer questions.

So the more I thought about it as the night went on I decided to investagate this company this morning. There is no website, no phone number for Transglobal, and no way of contacting them. So I found this website, and "Thank God I did", because I called my financial institution and issused a stop-payment on the transaction.

So I really hope that this web-site will fall into the hands of other victims, before its to late.
